  • FedEx: Safety Recognition

    FedEx: Safety Recognition

Program developed around FedEx Safety recognition. Photos used were a composite of the client’s stock photos in order to get the desired scene for the design. Animation is a simple cross dissolve. The challenge lays under the skin as the client required so many programs for each year level, but wanted them organized into groups. The way our current system template runs didn’t allow for their desired groupings. It was accomplished with a bit of ingenuity and jQuery programming skills to pull off the desired result without need for changing the back-end template.

  • OC Tanner: Milestones

    OC Tanner: Milestones

Career milestones website for employees at OC Tanner. The awards selection was originally built using Flash and XML. I then took the same XML resources built by the system and built a AJAX alternative version with jQuery for those users who don’t have the Flash player available. The functionality is mostly the same in both versions with only slight variations. It is built to dynamically pull the XML according to the year level selected without leaving the page and little overhead. The year level is pushed as an anchor to the url so the user may bookmark which year level they are at. Here is the non-flash version.

  • MasterCard: Unlimited Milestones

    MasterCard: Unlimited Milestones

Program developed to celebrate employees at MasterCard who are celebrating their career milestones. The selection of awards was built entirely in Flash using XML that our system produces for the data. That data is then parsed out and pulls in award images and descriptions according to the year level the user selects. The selection of the year level is actually dynamically done through a Javascript/jQuery call to Flash. Sorting the awards per category as well as the print features were also new feature that I added that had not previously been options. Zomming in on the award is also a cool and seamless part of the design.
